Agenda Item Text:
Approve CTR063847, Amendment 2 - Arizona Prescription Drug Overdose Prevention Program, between the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) and Cochise County Health & Social Services (CCHSS) in the amount of $247,270, effective September 30, 2024.
Background:
The original Overdose Prevention Contract with ADHS was approved February 2023. The renewal of this grant funding will continue to support the overdose fatality review board tasks, enhance the linkages to care services provided by the public health social worker, housed at the Cochise County Jail, by identifying the needs of incarcerated individuals and coordinating outpatient and inpatient behavioral health services upon release.
In this Amendment, there have been no changes to the overall budget amount or the deliverables. We have moved a portion of an existing Community Health Worker’s salary to be charged to this IGA.
