Accept issuance of two electric vehicle fire blankets from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) Emergency Response Fund (ERF).
Background:
The ADEQ Emergency Response Fund was established to provide HAZMAT supplies and equipment to first responders and emergency management offices across the State.
Cochise Emergency Management requested and was awarded two electric vehicle fire blankets, with an estimated value of $3,834 ($1,917 each x quantity 2). The fire blankets will be kept in fire departments/districts in the County.
ADEQ purchases equipment and supplies, then issues it to receiving departments/offices via the State surplus program.
