Approve Community Enhancement Fund expenditures for District 2: Sponsor Mundo Basketball program in Douglas, in the amount of $4,000.
Background:
Mundo Basketball is a grassroots program that aims to provide free basketball experiences to youth across Arizona and surrounding areas. Mundo Basketball is looking for partnership with the City of Douglas and the County to help with costs. Mundo Basketball puts in a fair share of the costs. For the summer tournament, they will have up to 20 teams divided into two divisions comprised of middle school and high school youth. The $4,000.00 will help the city provide two events.
