Approve Save Our Stairs Agreement for 2012 between the County of Cochise and Save Our Stairs, Inc., for the Bisbee 1000 Stair Climb to be held on October 20, 2012.
Background:
The Save Our Stairs, Inc., of Bisbee is sponsoring the annual Bisbee 1000 Stair Climb on Saturday, October 20, 2012. Part of the event will take place on County property, specifically, the Courthouse stairs, plaza, lawn area, and parking lot between the Court Administration Building and the Courthouse. Based on the fact that County property will be utilized, an agreement has been drafted, reviewed, and approved as to form by the County Civil Deputy Attorney, specifying the responsibilities and obligations of the Save Our Stairs, Inc., regarding the use of County property and applicable liability insurance requirements for the event. A copy of the organization's insurance certificated is included.
