Approve Purchase Order # E1H38254, for IGA #HG754193, Public Health Emergency Preparedness, between the Arizona Department of Health Services and the Cochise County Health Department in the total amount of $619,671.95, for the Cooperative Agreement (PHEP), EWIDS (Binational Preparedness), and the H1N1 Public Health Emergency Response (PHER) programs, for the funding period of 8/10/10 to 8/9/11.
Background:
While the BT Contract HG754193 was approved on April 1, 2007 the purchase order amounts are adjustable for each subsequent grant year.

Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The Bioterrorism Preparedness Program will not be able to proceed with their current scope of work and deliver both the preparedness grant requirements as well as complete the Pandemic Influenza planning and response tasks.
