Approve the Intergovernmental Agreement between Cochise County and Fairfield Estates Road Maintenance and Improvement District, effective immediately with automatic annual renewals.
Background:
This special district was formed pursuant to ARS § 48-1081 for the purpose of exercising their respective joint powers and contracting for services to complete paving and other public works projects. This special district has requested help from our department for completion of these projects.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Once an approved IGA is in place, our department will work with the special district to complete the projects accordingly within the scope of work and the Annual Work Plan.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The work for the special district will not be performed.
