Approve the consolidation of the Light and Heavy Fleet Departments into one department; the new department will be named Fleet Services.
Background:
With the retirement of the Heavy Fleet Director effective 5/10/12, the Light Fleet Director has been the acting Heavy Fleet Director in addition to his duties as Light Fleet Director.
This proposal is to bring both fleet departments and functions under the umbrella of Fleet Services withunder one Director and to change the name of the department to Fleet Services which includes all of these functions.

Finalize revised organizational charts and distribute.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
Alternatives: Could leave Light and Heavy Fleet as separate departments under different department directors. This alternative does not appear to be the most practical since the current Light Fleet Director is familiar with both divisions and staff therein. In addition, the missions of Light and Heavy Fleet are very similar and are easily integrated into one department.
