Approve a liquor license application series 16 (Wine Festival/Wine Fair) for a Wine Festival/Wine Fair submitted by Mr. Mark Anders Jorve of Zarpara Vineyard  to be held at 5900 W. Greenhouse Road, Willcox, 85643 for Saturday, September 7, 2013 from 1:00pm to 6:00pm.

Background:

Mr. Mark Anders Jorve has applied for a series 16 (Wine Festival/Wine Fair). The Wine Festival will be located at 5900 W. Greenhouse Road, Willcox, AZ  85643 on Saturday, September 7, 2013 from 1:00pm to 6:00pm.  The Sheriff’s Office, Planning and Zoning Office, and Environmental Health Office have recommended approval of the application and the check has been received to forward to ADLLC upon approval. The Treasurer's Department advises the property taxes are not current for the location of the wine festival.  Supporting documentation regarding this liquor license is on file with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors.

Department's Next Steps (if approved):

Board staff will forward the Board’s decision to the ADLLC.

Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:

The applicant will not be able to participate in the Wine Festival.
