Approve the appointment of Sarah Montoya-Lewis as the Housing Choice Voucher Participant Commissioner for the Housing Authority of Cochise County.
Background:
HACC Board of Commissioners must include a participant of the HCV Section 8 rental program. The HACC Board of Commissioners interviewed interested applicants and selected Sarah Montoya-Lewis at the February 17, 2011 board meeting. Please see the attached application.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
If approved, Ms. Montoya-Lewis will be offered the position of HACC participant commissioner.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
If she is not approved, HACC will seek interest from additional participants.
