Approve a monetary allocation to the Willcox Cares Organization, a subcommittee of the Willcox Chamber of Commerce for a hazard abatement project for removal of debris at the site of the former Desert Inn Motel on Haskell Avenue within the city limits of the City of Willcox.
Background:
The Board received a request to help with this hazard abatement project from the Willcox Chamber of Commerce.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Distribute the funds to Willcox Chamber of Commerce.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
Willcox Chamber of Commerce will not be able to fund hazard abatement projects.
