Approve the appointment of Mr. Patrick Greene to the Planning and Zoning Commission representing District 2, to fill a vacancy due to the resignation of Mr. Joe Garcia, for the remainder of his term ending December 31, 2015.
Background:
The Planning and Zoning Commission consists of nine members, three members appointed by each County Supervisor and residing in the respective Supervisorial District. Planning and Zoning Commissioners serve staggered four-year terms.
With the resignation of Mr. Joe Garcia, whose term expires on December 31, 2015, a vacancy exists from District 2. Supervisor Ann English is recommending the appointment of Mr. Patrick Greene to finish the term which ends on December 31, 2015.

The Planning Division will send Mr. Greene the By-laws and training materials.
