Approve the salary for Scott McManaway, who was elected as the Constable in Precinct 5 effective January 1, 2015 in the amount of $48,294.
Background:
Per statute 11-424.01 the Board of Supervisors must establish a salary for the constable.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Prepare the proper forms to establish the new salary for Mr. McManaway.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
Mr. McManaway's salary will not be established and he will not get compensated for his duties as Constable.
