Approve receipt of an allocation of $16,091 from the Arizona Supreme Court, for the purpose of providing family counseling services to juveniles and their families to Cochise County Juvenile Court Services; this allocation requires $4,023 in matching funds as budgeted within the general fund for Fiscal Year 2012.
Background:
Historically the Board of Supervisors has approved the matching funds as budgeted by Juvenile Court Services and this item is included each year as part of the continuing general fund budget.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Juvenile Court Services will manage the family counseling funds to continue providing family counseling services to juveniles and their families for Fy2012.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
If matching funds are not approved for use, the Arizona Supreme Court will not provide the $16,091 as allocated to Cochise County for family counseling services to juveniles and their families.
