Approve payment of $704.00 to Partnership for Rural Americal for Cochise County's pro-rata share of consulting services to ensure long-term extension of Secure Rural Schools Funding.
Background:
The Partnership for Rural America, a national alliance dedicated to an extension of Secure Rural Schools (SRS), contracted with a consultant to coordinate the nationwide effort to ask Congress for an extension of SRS. In order to fund the consultant's activities, the Partnership is asking each county that receives SRS payments to make a financial contribution, based on its share of SRS payments.
