Appoint Mr. Phillip Isaacson to the Cochise County Building Code Advisory and Appeals Board effective immediately through September 25, 2017.
Background:
A vacancy on the board was created by the resignation of Bill Henry. A new appointment will fill this four-year term due to expire on September 25, 2017. The Cochise County Building Code Advisory and Appeals Board was established in September 2013 as a seven-member board to hear and decide appeals of orders, decisions or determinations made by the Building Official regarding application and interpretation of the adopted building codes; to determine the appropriateness of alternative building materials and construction methods and to advise the Building Official and Planning, Zoning and Building Safety Division on proposed revisions or additions to adopted building codes.
Mr. Isaacson has extensive experience in the construction industry and vast knowledge of green building practices. He will be a welcome addition to the Building Code Advisory and Appeals Board.
