Approve the appointment of Mr. Paul Brick to the Board of Adjustment, District 3, for a four-year term beginning January 1, 2017 through December 31, 2020.
Background:
The Boards of Adjustment consist of three members appointed by the County Supervisor for each District, each residing in the District. Members of the Boards of Adjustment serve staggered four-year terms. As of January 1, 2017, there will be a vacancy on Board of Adjustment, District 3. Supervisor Call is recommending Mr. Paul Brick to serve the four year term beginning January 1, 2017 and ending December 31, 2020.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Send appointment letters and administer the oath of office to Mr. Brick as stated below in BOS Staff follow-up.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
After December 31, 2016, there will be a vacancy on the Board of Adjustment, District 3.

Please send Mr. Brick the standard letter from the Board office affirming her appointment, along with the oath of office. Community Development staff will provide the mailing address to the Clerk via email.
