Approve Resolution 11-29 delegating authority to County personnel to sign agreements with property owners regarding flood mitigation devices.
Background:
The County desires to assist property owners in affected areas by providing them with sandbags, straw wattles, concrete barriers and other flood mitigation devices and, in some instances, to assist property owners with placing the flood mitigation devices. The County is requesting property owners to sign agreements in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A allowing County access to their property and holding the County harmless. Because of the emergency nature of the assistance, it is desirable for the Board of Supervisors to delegate authority to sign these agreements to the County Administrator, Deputy County Administrator and the County Engineer.

Continue contacting affected homeowners, have them sign agreements and supply flood mitigation devices.
