Approve Sub-License Agreement between Elfrida Fire District and T-Mobile West, LLC to place communication equipment on the Cochise County owned tower located on Elfrida Fire District property at 10295 N. Central Highway, Elfrida for the period of November 28, 2017 through November 27, 2027 with one additional 10-year option period.
Background:
The County granted Elfrida the right to sub-license space on the Tower to commercial entities for the limited purpose of allowing the installation, maintenance and operation of a cell ring for relaying cell phone transmissions, phone antennas and associated equipment in an agreement signed on September 26, 2017. Elfrida shall receive any revenue from such sub-license. The County shall have the right to review and approve such sub-license agreement, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Provide fully executed copies of IGA to all applicable parties.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
Elfrida Fire could terminate the IGA with the County which would cause the county to relocate the tower on Elfrida Fire District property.
