Approve contract between Cochise County and Community Bridges Inc, also known as CBI Benson Inpatient to provide Title 36 Mental Health Services, in the amount not to exceed $500,000 annually, effective 07/01/2018 through 06/30/2021.
Background:
Securing placement for Title 36 patients can be a long process, often resulting in limited options for care. It is essential CHSS find as many partners as possible to ensure the broadest access to care and treatment in a timely manner. Community Bridges has recently opened a facility in Benson, therefore, creating one of two options available in County. Additionally, CBI has locations for additional care and services located in Pima and Pinal County. Having this availability will prove very useful for on-going care needs, or higher level of acuity, which historically has been a challenge for Cochise County T36 clients.

Without the contract, Cochise County will be subject to reduced control over Title 36 evaluation and treatment expenses.
