Adopt Resolution 18-21 establishing Robbs Road as a Declared County Highway.
Background:
Cochise County has received an opportunity to improve Robbs Road to a paved surface through the awarding of the Arizona Commerce Authority-Economic Strengths Grant. The awarding of $475,000 will go towards construction, materials and labor to pave approximately 3 miles of Robbs Road. Cochise County has been able to maintain Robbs Road due to its historical status. However, to improve the road to a paved surface, the road must be declared a County Highway.
In accordance with statute, staff has given notice of this public hearing for two weeks in the designated newspaper.

If the recommendation is approved, no further board action is required.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
That portion of Robbs Road will not be established as a declared County Highway.
