Approve a five year contract #19-40-TRE-01 between JP Morgan Chase Bank and the Cochise County Treasurer for banking services, effective July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2022.

Background:

The Procurement Department. with assistance from the Treasurer, prepared Request for Proposal 19-40-TRE-01 for Banking Services. The solicitation (Request for Proposal, “RFP”) was released to the public for proposals on April 24, 2019, and advertised in the San Pedro Valley News-Sun, April 24, 2-19 through May 15, 2019. The RFP was also posted on the Cochise County Bonfire (electronic procurement) website. Only one bid was received and therefore, a cost and price analysis was completed. The cost and price analysis is attached and compared the proposed rates to those from the previous contract, which was competed.

Department's Next Steps (if approved):

Execute renewal contract and monitor performance.

County would not be in compliance with A.R.S. § 35-325.
