Approve Emergency Management Performance Grant EMF-2019-EP-0010 between Cochise County and the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs, in the amount of $187,206.36 effective July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020.
Background:
The Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) is a federally funded, state administered grant program that supports emergency management functions of preparedness, response, and recovery. This fiscal years EMPG will support routine emergency management functions as well as capacity building for resource and information management across emergency services in the county. This is a 50% cost match grant where the matching funds have already been allocated in this FY budget.

Complete grant paperwork for return to the state for final approval and fund dispersal.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
If this grant is not approved the Office of Emergency Services will be 100% generally funded.
