Approve Fiscal Year 2019-2020 Drug, Gang, and Violent Crime Control Program (DGVCCP) funding agreement as provided by the Arizona Supreme Court, Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC), in the amount of $45,536 and the required $15,179 matching funds as budgeted in the general fund budget submitted by Adult Probation, effective July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020.
Background:
This grant provides wages and employer related expense funding that covers two (2) pre-sentence report writers, at 0.36 each and one (1) pretrial officer at .20, that work on drug related cases.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Send signed documents to the AOC for processing of revenue for FY20 and request cash transfer from the General Fund for the required match.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The impact of not approving this grant would be to cover the expenses through County General Fund or through our Probation Fees account.
