Agenda Item Text:

Adopt Resolution 20-02 to approve AZ034 Streamlined 5-Year 2020-2025 and Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Administrative Plans for Fiscal Year 2020.

Background:

Each year, the Housing Authority submits Plans to HUD as policies and guides for the Housing Choice Voucher Program. 

Department's Next Steps (if approved):

If approved, the Housing Authority will submit the Plans by the due date of April 2020 to HUD.

Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:

If the Plans are not approved, the Housing Authority risks being delinquent on a HUD requirement.

In addition to the Resolution, the Chairperson of the Board will need to sign 1 additional attachment HUD Form 50077-SL.  Please send to Anita Baca, Housing Director.
