Approve the updated County Organization Chart for departments reporting to the County Administrator, effective June 23, 2020.
Background:
The County organization chart has not been updated and approved by the board since 2016. The proposed chart incorporates department changes in Public Works and Engineering and Natural Resources. It is a broad overview of County services grouped by focus.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
The updated organization chart will be placed in the budget book for FY 21, as-well-as on the County website.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
If not approved, the County will continue to have an out-of-date organization chart that does not accurately reflect department structure. This can lead to confusion for the public and other agencies.
