Approve Interfund Transfer of $25,202.15, from Fund 143-Detention Education, to Fund 282-Juvenile Detention Ed effective 9/16/2020.
Background:
Effective July 1, 2020, an intergovernmental agreement transferred the responsibility of the Juvenile Detention Center education program from the Superior Court to the School Superintendent. The Interfund Transfer will move the remaining education funds from Juvenile Detention to the School Superintendent.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Submit budget amendment and Interfund Transfer to Finance to post the transaction.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The School Superintendent will not have the funds available for use.
