Approve a Lease Agreement for premises located at the Bisbee-Douglas International Airport between Cochise County and 4283929 Delaware LLC for the operation of an animal crematorium, in a 20,000 square feet building located at 6944 N Runway Road, Douglas, AZ 85607, for $1,150 a month for one year, effective February 1, 2021, with the option to renew in one-year increments.
Background:
The animal crematorium has operated at the BDI airport for a number of years, and this lease agreement is an update to the lease for $1000 a month that was approved by the Board of Supervisors in 2017.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Provide signed lease to the Lessor for signature.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The current lease will remain in effect for a lower dollar amount.
