Approve Grant Agreement E1S2L 01C between the State of Arizona, Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT), Aeronautics Group, and Cochise County, in the amount of $85,500 to relocate and upgrade the wind cone at the Bisbee-Douglas International Airport, with the understanding grant administration will be transferred to the County Finance Department in fiscal year 2022.
Background:
On October 27th, 2020 the State Transportation Board approved the project Wind Cone Install/Upgrade for Bisbee Douglas International Airport. The State's maximum reimbursement to the Sponsor for this Agreement shall be $85,500.00 The minimum funding participation from the Sponsor shall be $9,500.00 as determined by the State.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
If approved, the Department Director will sign the document and return it to ADOT before July 1, 2021.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
If not approved, the County will forgo the funds for the wind cone at BDI that needs to be relocated and upgraded.
