Approve Interfund Transfer of $116,000 from Fund 450, IT replacement fund, to Fund 216, Southeastern Arizona Communication (SEACOM) fund, for the County's share of the Motorola Radio System.
Background:
The SEACOM Motorola SUA II radio system cost $749,338 for FY21. This was split as follows: $158,000 Office of Emergency Services grant; $410,651 SEACOM fund balance; 64,867 City of Sierra Vista; and 115,319 Cochise county. The purchase has already been made via the County SEACOM fund. This interfund transfer allows the County to pay our share of this radio maintenance with the IT replacement fund, back to the SEACOM fund. The IT replacement fund is funded from half cent sales tax. Due to strong revenues in FY21, the IT replacement fund has the money and the budget appropriation to pay for the radio maintenance. The reimbursement revenue from the grant and the City of Sierra Vista will be deposited into the SEACOM fund.

Budget will move funds from IT fund to SEACOM fund.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The County would then not pay their share of the cost, and the SEACOM fund would be in the red.
