Approve the use of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to strengthen cybersecurity tools and conduct penetration testing and critical system security assessments, in the amount of $450,000.
Background:
Cyberattacks reached an all-time high in quarter 4 of 2021 and continue to rise into 2022. Governments are the second highest attacked vector and continue to be a target for hackers. Continuous improvement and monitoring is vital for reducing the cyber risk to Cochise County data and our systems.

Procure cybersecurity tools and hire a vendor to complete penetration testing and critical system vulnerability assessments.
