Approve Contract 22-06-FAC-01 for Landscaping Services at the Melody Lane Complex and Sierra Vista Regional Service Center with Southwest Desert Images, LLC, in the amount of $42,642, effective May 10, 2022 through May 9, 2023, with four one-year renewal options.
Background:
The Facilities Department worked with Procurement in issuing this requirement through the formal bidding process.
The Procurement Department issued Request for Proposal 22-06-FAC-01 with a deadline of January 7, 2022. All bidding vendors attended a site visit. All proposals were reviewed with the winning bidder being Southwest Desert Images, LLC.
Contract 22-06-FAC-01 is a multi-year contract for landscaping services at the Melody Lane Complex in Bisbee and at the Sierra Vista Regional Service Center with a base year of May 10, 2022 through May 9, 2023, with four one-year renewal options. Landscaping services, if approved, would be provided for the months of June through October. The multi-year contract is contingent on available funding and agreement.

Issue Contract and Purchase Order to Southwest Desert Images, LLC and begin scheduling the work to go through June 30, 2022.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
If not approved, the grounds at the Melody Lane Complex and the Sierra Vista Regional Service Center would not be adequately maintained during the monsoon season.
