Approve fiscal year 2022-2023 Court Security Improvements Funding Agreement, as provided by the Arizona Supreme Court, Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC), effective July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023, in the amount of $48,714.
Background:
The purpose of the allocation for this Court Security Improvements grant is to install ballistic equipment/material at the court security station located at the main courthouse to improve security by providing a safe and secure environment.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Receive AOC funding and work with County Procurement and Finance to purchase and install equipment.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
No money to make the improvements and upgrades consistent with the Arizona Supreme Court's Court Security standards.
