Appoint Mr. Billy Seamans to the Building Code Advisory and Appeals Board (BCAAB) for a term that will expire on September 25, 2025.
Background:
Ed Shiver is the current Fire Marshall for Fry Fire District and was appointed to the BCAAB in October 2016. He will be retiring the end of this year. Billy Seamans will be the new Fire Marshall and will replace Mr. Shiver on the BCAAB. His appointment to the Fire Marshall position is for a term that will expire on September 25, 2025. The BCAAB unanimously recommend approval of his appointment at their August 31, 2022 board meeting.

Following a successful appointment, staff will notify Mr. Seamans of his appointment.

Should this item not be approved; the Building Code Advisory and Appeals Board would lack a Fire Marshall board member.
