Reappoint Mr. Mike Rutherford to the Building Code Advisory and Appeals Board (BCAAB) for an additional term that will expire on September 25, 2025.
Background:
Mr. Rutherford was appointed to the newly established BCAAB in September 2013 and has served three terms. His reappointment to the General Contractor position is for an additional term that will expire on September 25, 2025. The BCAAB unanimously recommend approval of his reappointment at their August 31, 2022 board meeting.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Following a successful appointment, staff will notify Mr. Rutherford of his reappointment.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
Should this reappointment not be approved; the Building Code Advisory and Appeals Board will lack a General Contractor board member.
