Approve an Addendum to the Inspection Services Agreement (ISA) with the Arizona Department of Housing to enforce installation standards for manufactured housing and factory-built buildings for the City of Bisbee for a five-year term.
Background:
The addendum to the Inspection Services Agreement (ISA) to enforce installation standards for manufactured housing and factory-built buildings for the City of Bisbee is a new request. The Arizona Department of Housing has requested that Cochise County approve this addendum to enforce the installation standards for manufactured housing and factory-built buildings in the City of Bisbee. Cochise County will retain the permit fees to reimburse the county for inspection services.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
Upon approval of the addendum to the ISA, it will be signed and returned to the Arizona Department of Housing.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
If Cochise County does not approve the addendum to the ISA to enforce installation standards for manufactured housing and factory-built buildings for the City of Bisbee, then the state would be responsible for doing so. State inspectors would not be available on a daily basis.
