Approve the designation of Mr. Daniel S. Duchon as the Applicant Agent for the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs' Public Assistance program.

Background:

August 2022 brought severe rain and flooding to Cochise County, where the County itself established a local emergency.  The level of damage was sufficient for the County to participate in the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs Public Assistance program which reimburses certain County expenses at 75%.  The program needs a designated application's agent which this form establishes.

Department's Next Steps (if approved):

Department will submit completed form to AZDEMA.

Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:

County cannot participate in PA program, and cannot get reimbursed.
