Agenda Item Text:

Approve Amendment 1 to Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) CTR059344, Senate Bill 1847 Funding, between the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) and Cochise Health & Social Services, in the amount of $91,500, effective May 10, 2022 through May 9, 2027.

Background:

IGA CTR059344 was approved by the BOS on May 10, 2022.  It is a fixed price onetime payment to be used to address overdose deaths in Cochise County. This amendment removed the erroneous date of July 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022.  The contract went into effect on the date of the signature May 10th and will continue through May 9, 2027.

CCHSS will not have resources to provide the interventions identified when the original IGA was approved.
