Approve Contract 23-02-FAC-01 with Cochise Painting, LLC, for exterior painting of the Bisbee Melody Lane Complex, Bisbee Sheriff Administration Building, Willcox Regional Service Center, and the Sierra Vista Regional Service Center, in the amount of $291,000, effective January 24, 2023.

Background:

The Procurement Department issued Request for Proposal 22-02-FAC-01 with a submission deadline of July 1, 2022 at 5:00pm. All bidding vendors attended a site visit. Three vendors submitted proposals.

All proposals were reviewed with the lowest bidder being Cochise Painting.

Department's Next Steps (if approved):

Issue Contract and Purchase Order to Cochise Painting and begin scheduling the work. 

Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:

The exterior of the Bisbee Melody Lane Complex, Bisbee Sheriff Administration Building, Willcox Regional Service Center, and the Sierra Vista Regional Service Center would not be maintained, causing further deterioration of the existing stucco finishes.
