Agenda Item Text:

Approve Consulting Services Agreement between Government Leadership Solutions and Cochise Health & Social Services (CHSS) for a gap analysis and the completion of a Strategic Plan for CHSS, in the amount of $104,863, effective June 6, 2023 through June 30, 2024.

Background:

This Service Agreement is the result of the Workforce Development Grant portion of IGA CTR055207.

Governmental Solutions will guide us through our Strategic Planning Process for the department.  They include a comprehensive analysis of our COVID-19 Response and a thorough gap analysis to identify how our response could have been done better.  The resulting strategic plan will help us to strategically work toward being a stronger health department for responding to future Public Health Emergencies.

A Departmental Strategic Plan will also help us to meet the Public Health Accreditation standards.

Documents will be signed after approval from BOS to move forward.

Department's Next Steps (if approved):

Your approvals are respectfully requested.

CCHSS will begin working with Governmental Solutions to conduct a gap analysis and develop a strategic plan for Cochise County Health & Social Services.

Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:

CHSS will not have a Departmental Strategic Plan to help guide them through the next five years.

To BOS Staff: Document Disposition/Follow-Up:
