Adopt Resolution 23-16 and approve the accompanying bill of sale for the sale of the small modular 1990/1991 trailer at 915 Tovreaville Road to the City of Bisbee for $1.00.
Background:
A.R.S. § 11-251(9) authorizes Cochise County to dispose of surplus equipment and materials that have little or no value, or that are un-auctionable in any manner authorized by the board. The County owns an aged small modular 1990/1991 trailer located at Tovreaville Road formerly used for jail visitation that is of little value and is suitable for demolition. The trailer needs to be removed from its current location in order for the County to make use of the underlying parcel for the future animal shelter. The City of Bisbee is willing to purchase and move the trailer for a city project. Given the state of the trailer and the effort to remove it, a purchase price of $1.00 is acceptable.
