Approve Amendment 1 to the Committee and Board Assignments, to approve Membership in the Coalition of Arizona/New Mexico Counties for Stable Economic Growth, in the amount of $2,600.
Background:
In 1995 Cochise County was one of the initial 15 Counties to take part in forming the Coalition for Arizona/New Mexico Counties for Stable Economic Growth. We have a legacy of participation that has supported the mission of this organization through leadership and advocacy for local, state and federal legislation that promotes economic values and growth in Rural America. For the past several years we have only had participation status and Chairman Judd has been serving as the Cochise County contact. There has been no paid membership during this time. The annual dues are $2600 dollars for a county.
