Ratify the signature of Chairman Searle on HUD-2991 Certification of Consistency with the Consolidated Plan, signed April 10, 2012.
Background:
This form is a requirement for the submission of the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Family Self-Sufficiency Coordinator renewal grant. This is the fifth year we will be applying for a renewal of this grant which pays the salary of the coordinator. The award is $55,476/year. The signed form had a submission deadline which did not align with established Board meeting dates and Chairman Searle signed on April 10th. This action is to ratify his signature with official Board action.

If approved, the grant application will likely be approved in good standing.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
If not approved, HUD may consider the grant renewal application incomplete. This may jeopardize the grant renewal approval.
