Approve Amendment 3 to Intergovernmental Agreement 11-121-I with the State of Arizona, Department of Transportation (ADOT) to revise project costs to include additional Project Development Administration (PDA) costs, detailed in Exhibit A, for Davis Road improvements from Central Highway to US 191, in the amount of $30,000.
Background:
In 2011 a Coordinated Infrastructure Border (CBI) Grant was awarded for an assessment and preliminary design plans for Davis Road, and this was the original IGA. Amendment One was approved by the Board on August 28, 2012 to separate out a portion of Davis Road, Central Hwy to US 191, to complete preliminary engineering and design plans for this segment. Amendment Two was approved august 14, 2018 to add the Right-of-Way acquisition activity to the project scope. Amendment Three is to work thru ADOT to complete the construction design plans and update the clearances. The County will contract to have a consultant complete the design plans and update the project clearance and ADOT will provide reviews and clearances to comply with FHWA requirements.

Work with ADOT to hire a consultant to complete the design plans and clearances. Then apply for construction grants and construct the project.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
County will not have final construction plans of Davis Road, from Central Hwy to US191.
