Approve funding request of $50,000 to the Elections department for purchase of additional voting equipment at vote centers.
Background:
The Elections Department is requesting $50,000 for this election year to purchase additional voting equipment to reduce wait times at vote centers. This was discussed at the Dec 19, 2023 Elections Department work session.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
The Elections department will have the funds to purchase necessary equipment for this year's elections.

The elections department won't have enough funds to purchase equipment and wait times could be an issue at vote centers.
