Approve purchase of a AL300-EZ Mid-Carriage Striping Vehicle from EZ-Liner, in the amount of $229,960.  

Background:

The Public Works/Heavy Fleet Department's current paint striper is coming to the end of its life-cycle and needs to be replaced.  

This purchase has gone through the Cochise County Procurement Request for Price Quotation process. See attached documentation.

Department's Next Steps (if approved):

With the Board of Supervisor's approval, the Department will move forward with the requisition for the Purchase Order.

Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:

If not approved, the Heavy Fleet Division will have to refurbish the current striper truck, which could take over a year to complete.
