Agenda Item Text:
Adopt Resolution 24-05 to approve AZ034, Streamlined Annual and Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Administrative Plans, for Fiscal Year 2024.
Background:
Each year, the Housing Authority submits Plans to HUD as policies and guides for the Housing Choice Voucher Program, due 75 days prior to the June 30 fiscal year-end.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
If approved, the Housing Authority will submit the Plans by the due date of April 2024 to HUD.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
If the Plans are not approved, the Housing Authority risks being delinquent on a HUD requirement.
