Adopt Zoning Ordinance 24-05 to rezone tax parcel 104-12-016 from RU-2 (Rural District, one dwelling per 2 acres) to RU-4 (Rural District, one dwelling per 4 acres) pursuant to the application of Wesley and Maranatha Jackson.
Background:
The county received a request from Wesley and Maranatha Jackson to rezone tax parcel 104-12-016 from RU-2 (Rural District, one dwelling per 2 acres) to RU-4 (Rural District, one dwelling per 4 acres). The undeveloped parcel is located within Valley Vista Estates and totals about 4.3 acres.
Department's Next Steps (if approved):
The department will update the zoning map to reflect the new zoning district.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
The parcel will retain its current RU-2 zoning district classification. Future development will conform to applicable permitted use, site development standards, and building code requirements.
