Adopt Zoning Ordinance 24-07 to rezone tax parcels 117-05-067, 117-05-068, 117-05-069, 117-05-070, and 117-05-071 from SR-43 (Single-Household Residential, one dwelling per 43,560 square feet) to SR-174 (Single-Household Residential, one dwelling per 174,000 square feet) pursuant to the application of Rock Ridge Revocable Trust - Lynn Haber.

Background:

The county received a request from Rock Ridge Revocable Trust - Lynn Haber to rezone tax parcels 17-05-067, 117-05-068, 117-05-069, 117-05-070, and 117-05-071 from SR-43 (Single-Household Residential, one dwelling per 43,560 square feet) to SR-174 (Single-Household Residential, one dwelling per 174,000 square feet). The property totals about 5.7 acres and is located at Cochise Stronghold Road and Spruce Street in Arizona Sunsites Unit #2. 

Department's Next Steps (if approved):

The department will update the zoning map to reflect the new zoning district.

Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:

The property will retain the current SR-43 zoning classification. Future development will conform to applicable permitted use, site development standards, and building code requirements.
