Adopt Zoning Ordinance 24-09 to rezone the north 1.7 acres of tax parcel 101-41-008A, previously identified as tax parcel 101-41-001H, from RU-4 (Rural District, one dwelling per 4 acres) to HI (Heavy Industry District) pursuant to the application of Bima LLC - Marilyn Seibold.

Background:

The County received a request from Bima LLC - Marilyn Seibold (applicant) to rezone the north 1.7 acres of tax parcel 101-41-008A, previously identified as tax parcel 101-41-001H, from RU-4 (Rural District, one dwelling per 4 acres) to HI (Heavy Industry District). The property is located at the southeast corner of S. Arizona Street and W. Swan Road.

Department's Next Steps (if approved):

The department will update the zoning map to reflect the new zoning district.

Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:

The parcel will remain split zoned RU-4 and HI, and future development must conform to applicable use, site development, and building code requirements of these zoning districts.
