Agenda Item Text:
Approve agreement with Cellebrite Software in the amount of $276,243.38 for mobile device investigations solutions, including unlocking, extraction, analysis, and data management, effective June 30, 2024, to June 29, 2027.
Background:
This agreement is connected to the Anti-Human Trafficking grant approved by the BOS on 6/4/24. It has no cost or matching fund requirements.
Cellebrite bundled their software tools together to provide powerful computing capabilities to swiftly access mobile devices, search online and open source databases and sift through all types of digital data, automatically decoding it to surface critical evidence and actionable insights. All of these capabilities are designed to save time, reduce the backlog of data analysis, uncover patterns others might miss and streamline the processes to allow more effective and efficient collaboration, which leads to better investigative outcomes for victims and accountability for those responsible.

Department's Next Steps (if approved):
We currently use Cellebrite, therefore it will allow us to continue to use those capabilities to improve our investigative outcomes.
Impact of NOT Approving/Alternatives:
It will slow down and diminish our investigations.
